Another story from a car ride:
Katherine said "What the BEEP!"
I quickly asked where she heard that and she replies "on American Idol, they make a beep sound when someone says a bad word, and put the idol sign over their mouth!"
"Well, saying 'beep' is just as bad as saying the bad word, so let's not say it at all, ok?"
"But 'Heck' isn't really a bad word is it?"
"Let's just use nice words, ok?"

A few minutes later, Abby says softly, giggling, "Stupid...BEEP! Stupid...BEEP!"

Her big sisters wasted no time teasing her,"No Abby, you say the beep INSTEAD of the bad word, not WITH the bad word!"
